Your Speaker and Trainer:

Matt Kailey began his gender transition from female to male in 1997 and immediately began speaking about gender diversity, using his own experiences to bring a personal perspective to larger societal issues. Since that time, he has brought his message of diversity and acceptance to hundreds of people, including university students, corporate executives and employees, government personnel, and conferences attendees. He has appeared on local and national radio and television, has been featured in three documentary films, and has published an award-nominated book, Just Add Hormones: An Insider's Guide to the Transsexual Experience (Beacon Press, 2005), which provides readers with an inside look at the physical, social, and psychological aspects of gender transition.
